Born in Bognor Regis in 1993 and moved to Bournemouth in 1997, Seb Spiller began his interest in music by learning to play guitar & piano at the age of 5. While perfecting his skills in music composing and creating, Seb decided to make a move he would never forget. At the age of 13 he was influences by the fast paced sounds of UK Hardcore and the happy vibes from the newly developed scene in the early 21st century. He began making music on a basic version of Cubase and getting to grips with the very basics of Dance music production and engineering. At the age of 14 Seb began building his own studio, sacrificing his own bedroom and moving out to begin work on his project. Starting with the basic necessities and saving all his money to buy new equipment, his studio slowly but surely grew.
Once happy with his environment for music creation, Seb began making music under the alias "Spillz" which slowly grew to "Spill- Z". His first few tracks were basic but showed signs of music intellect and solid structuring. His first ever commercial set came at the age of 15 when he played at "Elements" nightclub in Bournemouth now known as "Lava Ignite", one of the biggest and most well known nightclubs in Bournemouth town. During this set he DJ'd and MC'd his way through all his tunes and many club smashers. This was the set that changed Seb's life, from this point onwards he knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life. Directly after his first ever set, Seb was offered a small residency at the club "Elements", where he took the offer straight up, it was something he could not turn down. Shortly after his residency agreement, "Elements" was closed down due to dodgy circumstances in the club, so this gave Seb time to get new material ready for the return of the club.
During the time of skill perfecting, Seb made the biggest move he had made and changed his name from "Spill- Z" to what it is known as now "Seb Narcotic". This move opened up new oppotunities, with a more mature and Hardcore name, Seb began creating slightly harder Hardcore while still keeping the "Happy" vibe alive.
"Elements" returned shortly after it's close known as "Lava Ignite". Seb still plays there at many events such as for the under 18's nights where has the ability to promote his music and the Hardcore scene to the new younger generations to keep the scene alive and well.
Seb has continued to create new and innovative UK Hardcore and has also moved on to other genre projects such as Electro & House under the alias "Slaughterhaus", Drum & Bass under the alias "Breakneck Speed", Dubstep & Hardstep under the alias "Electric Smegma" and many more!
AND IS NOW STUDYING MUSIC AND AUDIO TECHNOLOGY AT BOURNEMOUTH UNIVERSITY!
