Michael Fabiano sings Rodolfo in Seattle Opera’s “La Bohème.” In Act Two he introduces his new sweetheart, Mimì, to his friends at Café Momus: "This is Mimì, who makes flowers and joy. With her, our happy company is complete. For I am a poet...and she is Poetry. As odes blossom forth from my brain, flowers bloom from her fingers and love blooms forth from rejoicing souls!" His friends (Arthur Woodley as Colline, Keith Phares as Marcello, and Andrew Garland as Schaunard) mock his grandiose sentiment. Carlo Montanaro conducts the orchestra of Seattle Opera.
