Sean first spun a record back in '98 after being inspired by the early acid house and Detroit techno sounds which he grew to love. He gained his club experience in Ireland playing in a host of clubs, securing radio gigs and running his own successful parties. This is where he learned his trade and tried to push out the music that he loved. He always found musical influences and gigs during his earlier days, and in truth his love for underground music never left him as you will find in many of his sets today.
After finishing his Multimedia degree at Uni, Sean decided to leave the country to pursue his career in music and succeed in other countries around the world. This lead to travelling from Ireland to Scotland and then Australia for a couple of years and during this time he gained a lot of musical experience and found himself picking up a lot of contacts along the way. Sean continued to push out his sound in Australia where he got involved in the music more by secured gigs and a residency. He was inspired by the music and constant partying scene here so much that he returned to Ireland with a different outlook on the scene as well as fresh ideas and material to build on.
Sean then returned to his roots by setting up his underground parties once again as well as steering in a new direction which involved a lot of time in the studio. This is where his musical knowledge and experience over the many years is let loose. With underground heavyweights such as Dave Clarke, John Tejada, Richie Hawtin and local hero Phil Kieran to be inspired by, you can expect to find something edgy and unpredictable in Sean's productions today. He can be found producing the kind of tracks that sum up his style - dark, dirty & heavily tech influenced which seems to be his signature.
Not surprisingly, his productions have been recognised by record labels and his 'Broken Signals EP' was snapped up by Rationalism Records and can be found on Beatport very soon. He has future remixes to look forward to, a list of new tracks on the horizon and interest from major labels so you can be sure its going to be a busy year ahead in the studio for this young man.
With professionalism, ambition and a burning desire to push out a sound which can only be described as his own, it looks like you will be hearing a lot more from this talented DJ/Producer in the near future.
