Child of early MTV days, when they actually played music videos.
my father had a decent record collection which included some 12" remixes.
this got me thinking about the concept of beat mixing.
I started DJing with a mobile DJ company in Columbus, OH in 1987.
Standard fair of mobile DJ gigs which then progressed into nightclub gigs on the OSU campus & the Short North as well as rave and underground parties of the day.
Worked with various DJs such as Michael Swagerty, Rob Engel, EZ Cheez (Mr Ballistic), Websligner, Kevy Kev, Jondy, Mike G., Tommy D, Cori Roberts, J-Money and many more.
1996 I moved to Chicago and had some super great friends & DJs (Teri Bristol & Psycho Bitch) take me under their wing spinning along side them at places like Red Dog and Crobar (early years).
Beyond that I had a several year residencies at Zentra and Narcisse plus many other guest spots at various other clubs/parties.
Worked with other DJs such as Michael Serafini, Mel Hammond, Lady D, and others.
These days I'm living in Squamish, BC and when I'm not taking care of my kid or exploring the great outdoors here I like working on mixes, trying to get my own mixes going, photography and home videos of my son.
