Lorn, I think you may have just displaced "Lemuria" out of the top slot in my list of best "Ancient Realm" mixes. This is amazing.
Lorn, you've done it again. You've brought us to somewhere into late Sumer or early Babylon, but by spaceship. Thank you.
Outstanding. Thank you, AuroraX, for letting me join you on this musical voyage towards a distant star. Aldebaran is in for a treat when we finally touch down on one of its more stable planets, because I'm planning on rolling down the windows of our spacecraft and letting this play loudly. (I hope there's a planet with a breathable atmosphere.)
@alex-kozobolis: I suppose you're right. Well, it really did touch me, regardless. Thanks for creating it.
Shoom. Once again, you arrest my attention and send my spirit-self soaring. Thanks for keeping these classic goa sounds fresh and alive.
I lack words to describe just how fully I am forever ruined for any other melancholy music. They shall all be measured against this track, and they shall all fall short. I've never heard a more introspective, sad, and hopeless tune that, at the same time, holds forth promise, as if a tease, just over the next horizon, just after jumping through one more hoop. And yet it ends on a positive note, but I'm left wondering: is it honest? Or is that melancholy really the message?
You've done it again. You've lifted my very essence of being out of its crude, fleshy hull and launched it skyward. Listening, I could truly feel the edges of the nebula, sensed its interface with the rest of space and of my awareness. And I was struck with awe as the secrets of the universe flashed before my eyes, beautiful in their symmetry and simplicity, but gone in a single blink of the third eye. And so I played the mix again, and again, each time seeing a little more—but also learning how little I knew to begin with. Brilliance, Therapist: you have it.
Another triumph, Lorn. I especially love the blend into "Adagio for the Braves" (a heart-wrenching track). And the "Aes Drama" track was a surprise. This mix has the potential to knock "Lemuria" out of its #1 slot in my set of favorite Ancient Realms!
Lorn—my friend Lorn—indeed, who has the honor to say such things? Very few. But I will take advantage of that honor and use it to introduce this: My friend, Lorn, you have done it again. The entire series of "Ancient Realms" is truly inspired. And E'Nociobi is one of the finest yet! I've listened on both SoundCloud and MixCloud and I find new nuances, new cleverness, new sounds that tickle my ears in novel ways. Thank you for making this mix. I wish you could see the grin on my face as I listen to it again for the nth time—where "n" is large!
My goodness. AuroraX, you've done it again. I'm thoroughly impressed and astounded by the melding of these sounds to create a tapestry of music, a tale told from start to finish. Thank you.
Floating in zero G through the galaxy's most psychedelic quasar. Beautiful.
Goodness. I'm not sure what to say. I don't really like drum'n'bass, but this is…special. Unique. A strangely pleasant voyage into the mind, and yet simultaneously outward into the great beyond.
Mmm, that beautifully introspective first track really draws you in; then, before you realize it, you're riding choppy waves on a direct course to Kumari Kandam.
Oh wow! That percussion is brilliant. And that recorder-like sound? Almost renaissance in its sauntering beat. Beautiful.
And with that invocation, you've got me. I'm all yours.
You guys have done an amazing job. You've captured my spiritronaut, and lifted him through a dream-like launch into the space between the stars. The visions he endured were manifold and multicolored, yet all pleasant and enticing. Thank you both for a brilliant mix.
Lorn, you've done it again. This entire mix was absolutely brilliant.
Oh brilliant. You mix gypsy brass too?! Fantastic!
I strongly approve of this sound. This is the music that tickles the hardest-to-reach parts of my brain. This is the sound that lifts my feet off the ground, puts a smile on my face, and makes the earth more beautiful, more colorful, more significant. Thank you for the mix!
That's aural bliss, distilled to a potent level, and trickled into my ears like manna. I sincerely hope today's psychedelic artists try to embrace this sound once again. This is the sound that I crave!
Thanks for such a lovely set, Lorn. I truly appreciate it.
By all the gods, demigods, angels, sprites, pixies, spriggans, spirits, and minor sentients who cluster around such delicious music…I'm…
I'm without words.
I realize, for me, that's surprising. I almost always have something to say, but this time, I'm at a total loss.
Therapist, your "Ephemeral Patterns" have given me so much succor through so much adversity that I feel I've never known loss. But even during happier moments, your mixes have served only to elevate my spirit to levels of joy I'd never realize one could achieve. Then I listened to "Studies in Departure" and "Forested Enchants" and learned new dimensions to aural space that I couldn't have imagined.
And, just when I thought there were no further boundaries to press, to further edges to break beyond and explore, you do it again.
Thank you for "Rebirth of the Quantum Dragonfly".
You show that there is never a boundary, never a barrier, never a fence: that there is always, always, always a beyond. And with this mix to guide me, I shall ever explore that beyond—and other beyonds further still.
I've been listening to this mix back-to-back on repeat all day and I must admit, I am utterly astounded by its brilliance.
This ranks in my top ten mixes, regardless of genre, of all time.
It's pure genius, distilled to a fine aural essence. I cannot emphasize just how many times I've repeated it, nor how many track purchases it's encouraged. And yet, listening to the tracks in isolation can never come close to the beauty and transcendence of hearing them effulgently blended by you in this mix.
Thanks you, Therapist.
Amazing! So much energy, so much emotion—and all tied together with psychedelic textures that truly speak to the innermost self. WOW!
Oh wow, brilliant! Nice easy pace allows me to relax, but the psychedelic sounds open my mind. Fantastic.
WHOA! What a mix! And such a stunning set of tracks, arranged artfully and with attention to detail.
I can almost identify that last track, but the name escapes me. Got a track list?
Oh Psneaky, I can't tell you how often this mix has moved me to tears, especially with the final track by Dream Theater. Wow. Such a brilliant story you've told with this mix. Thank you.
I hope all's well with you and that misery is far, far distant.
Brilliant passion climaxing in intensely psychedelic energies. What fierce power! Thank you for your creation.
