Growing up as a child of the 80s and 90s, Heavy D was among my favorite artists. I literally wore out my cassette of "Now That We Found Love" and owned every single one of his CDs. "In Living Color" was the best show on TV and I learned the dances from all of Soul For Real's videos. I obviously felt compelled to put together a compilation of my favorite songs by "The Overweight Lover." I hope you enjoy this as much as I have enjoyed being a fan.

I always felt funny about this show. the opening track by heavy d & the boyz was cool but I always felt that our own people of color were mocking themselves too harshly--modern blackface if you will. I guess it takes a shocking thing to make people laugh in the 90s 00s and 10s.

I only listened to the first 2 minutes so far but it's pretty solid! Great that you had the time to put together something worthwhile. (I could only put together a few snippets on my page.)
