Schaamteloos-dj's

Schaamteloos DJs is a cooperation between Jan Boom (Panama, Mazzo) and Branko van Hilten (Panama).

Jan and Branko joined forces to push their styles forward in the Dutch electronic scene. Schaamteloos DJs are mainly about a warm progressive funky techhouse sound. The Dutch word `Schaamteloos´ means `shameless´ in English, and the duo shows this during their wild and often eclectic sets in the country´s top clubs.

Jan Boom
Jan was born into an artistic and musical family, developed early musically and got bitten by the house bug when he was only 13.
His DJ career started like no other: a residency at the world famous Amsterdam club Mazzo, where he played alongside the likes of John Digweed, Deep dish, Nick Warren, Danny Howells, Jimmy van M, Sin Plomo (in bed with space) Pete Tong (BBC Radio 1), Tiësto, Victor Calderone, Kevin Saunderson, Junkie XL, Dave Seaman, Nic Fanciulli, Timo Maas, Sandy Rivera and Jack de Marseille .
Since the Mazzo's closure, Jan has been resident of club Panama in Amsterdam

Jan Boom's skills lie largely in his ability warm-up the night, starting gently and setting the tone of the evening. He is renowned throughout the Netherlands for a sublime mix of progressive and tech-house, and many top DJ has commented to him on his superb ability to warm-up a room expertly.

These days, Jan´s bookings see him guest in clubs throughout the Netherlands at peak time, a different skill entirely, but one that he has become equally renowned for.
With new productions and remixes under his belt, 2009 is set to be his year.

Branko van Hilten
Branko has been organising events since he was 15 years old, starting out as a DJ on a couple of belt-driven turntables! A real music fanatic, he has a vast records collection encompassing many different genres. 2003 saw his major `breakthrough´ as a DJ, with regular bookings including a hot residency at Natural @ Panama and also top Amsterdam DJ cafe TWSTD.
Branko played with dj's like Deep Dish, Danny Howells, Dave Seaman, Sin Plomo (in bed with space) & Pete Tong (BBC Radio 1) .

Branko hooked up with Jan Boom to form Schaamteloos DJs at the beginning of 2007, to share in the residencies and gig all over the country

He is another rising star in the scene, who consistently perform at some of Holland´s top clubs, also guesting in clubs throughout the Netherlands at peak time.

Branko van Hilten is committed to studio work in 2009 to further his and Schaamteloos' DJs careers in 2009.
