Andrew aka Abdomen Burst needs no introduction, really, he's been with us since the beginning, his unmistakable blend of deep and soulful melodies and punchy beats make his sound unique.
Following up on the success of the initial release of his single "Shine", released on our label in August 2012 with a superb remix by Precision Cuts, we've decided to start a series of releases of remixes of this masterpiece tune.

Monk3ylogic is the current project of Mike (aka B3yondControl & Mike Method) and Will (aka Subliminal System), based in Bristol, UK.
They chopped the original piano and lead melody from the original and added their distinctive Psy/Psychedelic Tech-Funk style exciting sound scapes, techy lead lines and driving bass to provide this unique sounding remix.

Turtlesquad aka David Vávra, is the new signing to Scarcity and a very talented producer from the beautiful city of Prague, Czech Republic. When he is not in his studio in Uhríneves, in Prague, usually locked for days, thoroughly crafting some breakbeat tracks, he is out DJing in the city, or firing up the grill in his backyard, depending on the mood.
He is on the deeper tip on this release; his remix stays true to the original melody but adding extra bassline goodness and/or depth, glitchy, driving beats, you see, just the way we like it!
