I LOVE the melodic bass playing throughout this whole section. This song is just perfect.

Improvisational, really don't like it. Playing with sound but not going anywhere. Sorry, Trey.

Is there anything better than when someone shares their God-given talents with us like Trey does? Trey and Phish are crucial!!

a little too proggy/ fusiony for me. I like those styles, when they come from return the forever, or tony williams, or mahavishnu. I guess I actually want to see an INDIE ROCK album from my hero, Trey.

I would strongly advise folks to give a listen to some Zappa from his classic 72 – 74 period, in particular, revisit One Size Fits all. Trey has long been a devotee of Frank’s and the FZ dna is dripping off this sweet track.

Peter Katis (co producer) and Trey are on to something here. Trey Philistines jr? Sounds great.

wow - the ambiance here is breathtaking - almost reminds me of some of Bill Frisell's more recent work with Matt Chamberlain and Lee Townsend called Floratone and it's sequel...Brilliant stuff Trey! As a recovering opiate/benzo addict myself, you have been a constant source of inspiration and hope for me. I am a musician too, which helps me understand just how damn hard it is to play a show surrounded by alcohol/drugs and always have to be the one that says "No thanks, I'm good..."
Love ya Trey - Give my tunes a listen if you ever get some free time - I'm not kidding when I say when I started recording again in August of 2011 I was in my first few months of recovery and looked to you as kind of a "Trey can do it, therefore I have the strength to play without drugs too!" the link - http://saemusic.bandcamp.com - user4013017

Pretty cool stuff! Starts off a little prog rocky but the vocals and percussion hold a very 'Anastasio' feel to them. With some nice scary/silent movie vamps and some psychadellic progressions. I wonder what the touring band will look like...
