I was thinking that maybe that could just be it.... That is what this is about. But it would have been a cut'n'paste copout. And it wouldn't give me the chance to gloat about these 2 slices of healthy android proto haus that I have had the pleasure of holding close to my chest since the day "that email" landed in my box. It came all the way from England.
This is how i picture it happening :
In the deep-freeze of the European winter 2 like minded men gathered around the warmth of their analogue children and bonded over an excessive taste of being English and also being English and electronic. This - they decided - would form the base for their new project aimed at deploying warm bombs of the mind-warping variety on dance-floors across the globe. A scheme that could be carried out with the help of some allies - ie us (The Australians). Well we didn't really do anything, we didn't even know it was happening. Dan (Stopmakingme) Avery and Danny (C90s) Ashenden kept their secret very secretive for a while til they felt prepared for the 'Techno-Attack' phase.
I could fill another 2 pages with the list of electronic accolades these 2 lovely Englishmen have achieved in the past few years - but that would just be wasting cyber paper, and for us it is enough just to hear 2 tracks that represent 2 artists very honestly and reflect their tastes together.
