Satellite Stories is party indie band from Oulu, Northern Finland. The band known for their energetic live shows draws inspiration from the likes of Phoenix, The Wombats, Two Door Cinema Club & Vampire Weekend. Recently Finnish music media and music industry professionals chose Satellite Stories one of the most promising finnish bands for 2012.
Even though they have only released handful of songs, Satellite Stories has already toured Central Europe and played on major Finnish summer festivals. Their songs Helsinki Art Scene and Kids Aren't Safe in the Metro have been featured on MTV USA and climbed to TOP-10 of The Hype Machine and We Are Hunted.
