About

Sasha Khan is a producer with diverse tastes who found his love for music when he was 8 years old when he decided that he wanted to play the flute! Over the years he has had a go at playing guitar, bass and drums and loves using live instrumentation in his productions when he gets a chance.

He is an active member of the Nottingham and Derby (UK) Drum and Bass/ Jungle and Bass Music scene, drawing influence from talented producers such as Joe Nebula (Nebula 2), Andy McAllister, Silent Code, XTC and Impact, Theory, Shookz & Devize, Xtra Hype Crew, Terraform, Fyber, Phasix and Omen Breaks to name a few!

He has been interested in all things Jungle/ DNB since his teens and has been writing electronic music since he got his hands on a drum machine and 4-track tape machine. From these lo-fi beginnings he managed to scrape together enough cash to invest in some professional recording gear taking his music to another level.

Since then he has had tracks reviewed in Knowledge Magazine (K Mag), tunes played on BBC Radio 1Xtra with one track featuring on the BBC CD “XtraBass Presents: The Cutting Room Best Of 2004” under the moniker “Groove Distortion” as well as releases on Ground Level Records and Jungle Expeditions.

He is also available to DJ, playing an eclectic mix of DNB, Jungle and Future Jungle.
