Takes me back to Bourbon Street on a hot and stormy night... love the vocal and the arrangement. Would love to remix you sometime if you are ever in the mood for some beats, uptempo or ambient ;)

@BrickLaneQuake: I think the idea is not to have SOME BEATs, this foolish idea sounds just as dumb as a DISCO REMIX. Some ideas are hard to grasp I know, but this is one I wish more people would understand

@alanps: As an unreconstructed disco loving fool with twenty years in dance music, I'm always curious and happy to see music of different genres and textures blended... particularly luscious vocals... though realise that lovers of excessive capitalisation may have a problem understanding the concept. A song as perfectly formed as this one does not lend itself to a reconstruction, but would love to work with some of Sarah's vocal stems frlmand see what materialises in the mix

@alanps: As an unreconstructed disco loving fool with twenty years experience in dance music, I love to see different genres and styles blended. Was not suggesting this particular slice of perfection was amenable to reconstruction, but would love to work with Sarah's raw vocal stems sometime and see what arises. Doubt that concept easily grasped by lovers of excessive capitalisation, but quite happy to know am still provocative after all these years

This is quite nice stuff, needs a bit more work (dont we all?) but still very good, although as a demo it's o.k. the producution needs a more sympathetic ear, at the moment it's very dry and 'studio bound', but that's easy to change. Slow down and relax with it, but please carry on, you're good.
- Apple Juice on May 22, 2009 16:42
@alanps: you're right. the music in itself sounds very soothing. nice.
