I haven’t posted an original song for a year now so for a change, i am posting one again. Wrote this during my “Lord-are-You-still-there” kind of struggle. Resting in the Lord is the hardest lesson I had to learn in life, pero once natutunan mo na, (though I am still learning) ay ang sarap ng mabuhay. :P This is for those who are currently in that situation. :)

    LYRICS

There’s a storm inside my heart
    Confusion plays a big part
    I’m struggling for answers
    I’m struggling for reasons

But I am a child of the King
Why do I worry about everything?
When You hold my world in Your hands
Even at times that I can’t tell

    Pre Chorus
So even when I’m drowning, I will let go
Even when I’m falling, I know I will soar
When the earth is shaking, I will stand still
And know that You’re in control

    Chorus:
I will rest in You (3x)
And You alone can calm my restless soul
I’m laying down everything to You

I will live one day at a time
Cause I know Your grace, it satisfies
I will take You at Your Word
    That I’ll never be forsaken

    I don’t need to understand
All your wills and all your plans
All I know is that all things
    work together for my good

    (repeat pre chorus)
    (repeat chorus)
