Born in Panama City, Panama, on June 22, 1990. Sara Castro was always around music, fun, and entertainment, though her eclectic taste in music, she developed an affinity for the electronic gender in 2004. Through her musical journey she met Granvil Kincaid, top Dj/producer and sound engineer in Panama who later became her mentor. Shortly after one week of rehearsing and getting the right music selection, Sara rocked for the first time on June 2009 one of Panama’s electronic nightclubs, Pure Lounge and Terrace.  After only 5 months as resident Dj of Panama`s high-end venues, Sara Castro was also playing in different prestige clubs and events all over Panama.
She started working on her image and show, evolving the Dj concept into an Electronic Super Star. Not just sharing her ability and taste of music blending but creating experimental-fashion-art outfits for every presentation.
She has collaborated with Panama´s well-known fashion designers (Annie Chajin, Melina Typaldos, Moises Sandoya, Juan David Velez) and also performed for global brands (Guess, MAC, Buffalo DAVID BITTON, ALDO, Swatch, Creative Recreation, Nike, Juicy Couture, Miller MGD, Dior, Louis Vuitton, L´oreal, REDKEN, MINI, Coca-Cola, LG, Samsung, 28 Black, Apple, BCBG, Fashion Week Panama).
Nowadays Sara Castro is endorsed by Ultrasone “The headphones that embrace the natural miracle of listening”. She has performed along artists such as Armand Peña, Dj Alexa, Mikel Curcio, Blond-ish, Miss Nine, Max Graham, Linda Kozniak, Kaiserdisco, David Jach, Michael Nielebock, Ismael Rivas, Dan Ghenacia, Fischerspooner, Tom Sawyer, Patrick M., Clive Henry, DJ Rooster & Sammy Peralta, David Guetta and in festivals such as Space of Sound and Pullapanzak in Honduras. Also in private events, hotels, brands launchings. Sara Castro has been releasing single tracks since the beginning of 2010, Sara´s first release, which had her vocals, is called “Hydro Trip”, including 4 remixes from different artist and producers, was in first place of the top 10 for two weeks on Miami´s well recognized label “Southside Recordings”, on Beatport and was chosen by the label to be part of the album “Best of 2010”.
On June 2011 started her endeavor to Europe where she performed in private events in Munich and Berlin, also as a headliner in Macumba Madrid; where seven days were enough to decide that she´ll continue her ongoing musical journey in Europe. Since 2012 she has performed in Berlin in many venues such as Morlox, Solar Bar, VCF, MIKZ, Brunnen 70 and Tresor. Sara Castro is nowadays living in Berlin, with her mentor while they “unify cultures” by creating a fusion of electronic beats, combined with Latin music and Caribbean sounds, working with great musicians from different countries and traveling to Panama, where she will record most of the instruments. Presenting to the world her “Live” Show called “The Whole 9 Yards” that is part of her “LooSeeD journey”.
