About
.⸗sᴧистυмȝȢ⸗.
In September 09' I attended college! Now you ask, what the eff does that matter? Well, that month, because of college, I met some new friends, and was then exposed to a godly world known as Dubstep. For days and days, I sat in my dorm room with my new found friends just bathing in grime. I couldn't believe this epic sound I was hearing. The bass was moving, and the sounds sent shivers through me.
I had not even begin to think that I could make the stuff... until one day, one of my college buddies showed me a program called FL Studio. I thought it was sweet, and brought me back to highschool days when we had to make small audio files in Comm Tech class. So at this point for more days and days, me and my buddy searched the web and YouTube for tutorials on using FL for dubstep. Eventually I learned certain skills here and there, and found Soundcloud and started putting out my first tracks.
To this day I am still learning alot, and it has been a year of me fooling around in the program more or less as a hobby.
I now want to make something of it, and will be looking to take Audio Engineering in the fall. Previous to all this I had no musical experience other than a nack for rhythm and a love for good music. My father was also a musician in his time, so that has been passed down a bit through the genes.
One day I want to be up there with some of the big names like Benga and Bar 9.
AS FAR AS MY MUSIC GOES? I thrive to bring a melodic catchyness to my tracks, and a semi different sound of creativity to what we all know as Dubstep. I don't strive to mimic Datsik, or the other big artists, but to be big in my own way.
Leave your thoughts, follow me, and keep on listening guys!
