AKA - also known as the voice of love, pleasantly askew and Sam to his mum - is a local soldier of the underground with a genuine lust for music, the dance floor and dark spaces.

Taking cues from the historical, pioneering house and techno of the 90's, through to experiences partying away on the modern floor, I am an obsessed digger of tunes. From the slow and groovy to the weird and mechanical, expect only handpicked tunes while I’m directing.

Over the last few years I have been called upon to warm up the room for the likes of Lee Curtiss, Superpitcher, Sebastien Leger, Oliver Huntemann, Audiojack, Classixx, Hybrid, Trevor Loveys, Housemeister and many more.

Playing regularly as a resident in my home town, I have also been a guest for the likes of PANG!, Effigy and Llik Llik in Canberra. Ultimately playing at Canberra’s 2010 festival ‘AllOurFriends’.

With my crew, Phantoms and Excursions, I have helped build a small but passionate house/techno community in the Illawrra with parties such as HEADSUP, RAVE, and LAZE hosting talented locals and internationals akin to Dyed Soundorom, Lee Curtiss, Emerson Todd, Housemeister & Djedjotronic.
