A recording of the 'Ellesmere Polka', a piece of music written and played on the occasion of the visit of Queen Victoria to Worsley New Hall, Salford, in 1851.

The recording forms part of a project funded by the Peel Group involving an archaeological dig and a survey of archives and memories of Worsley New Hall, carried out by University of Salford's Library and its Centre for Applied Archaeology.
