Originally from the city popularly known as the “Green City in the Sun”, Sajan Gosrani is Nairobi’s long awaited answer to the Electronic Dance Music scene. Born with the desire to make it big in the music scene, Sajan started his musical journey by playing the keyboard. From that point forward, his musical experimentation continued with beatboxing and eventually led into producing. Introduced to FL Studio 9 by his brother at the age of 16, Sajan self taught himself the inner workings of the software and began officially producing at the age of 17. Two short years later, he has been fortunate enough to have his track, “No Limits,” signed by Subtone Records and set to release this coming month. As Sajan continues his producing career, he has been experimenting with several genres of Electronic Dance Music in many of his productions. These experimentations have been caused by likes of his inspirations, such as Deadmau5, Hardwell, Dada Life, and Avicii. However, Sajan best describes his style as, “a combination of Progressive House and Electro House.” Following a great start to 2013, Sajan is hard at work planning out his releases for the rest of this year. Expect more of his upcoming projects set to release in the coming months.
