Rock Whittington, better known under the musical moniker of Saint Rock (StR©K), is an American composer, multi-instrumentalist, and music producer. Formerly the lead guitarist of the progressive rock bands Damiera and Punch People, respectively, Whittington began producing and releasing instrumental works under the name Saint Rock in early 2011. StR©K’s sound is a dynamic blend of jazz, electronic and hip-hop interlaced with elements of World music. Integrating a well-versed repertoire and unbridled range to both music and film, StRock’s experimental dexterity yields compositions that diverge between melodically eloquent tunes/arrangements and inconspicuously calculated, hard-hitting beats. Recent works include scoring the original music for the feature documentary NOLAbound (Link to film above), and producing ZOOM ZOOM, "The Impermanence EP" (January 1, 2013)
