Born and raised in the little caribbean island called Puerto Rico.A true Metalhead(yes you read right,a Metalhead)who grew up listening to bands like Metallica,Iron Maiden,Rush,Van Halen,Black Sabbath etc. Electronic music wasn't his forté so to speak (a kind way to say he didn't like it at all) always saying that electronica was fake and hollow music. Until one day he listened to a song produced by an English DJ known as Squarepusher, and his opinion about electronic music took a 180 degree turn. Thanks to Squarepusher, other electronic musicians and industrial bands started to appear on his musical radar like Aphex Twin and Ministry. And already listening to experimental bands like Fantomas, Mr Bungle,Primus and The Melvins, The Saint started with a little help of his best friend JLA (who already was creating some electronica lounge kinda songs) and some music production software to experiment with some wacky sounds and aggressive beats to create his ideas. Those ideas then converted into complete electronic songs with some hard rock and metal influences here and there.In fact,one the songs of his debut EP was recorded using heavy guitar riffs and harmonies as the main ingredient for the song. So long story short...the Saint of The Echo is simply an 80's metalhead who filters his hard rock and metal guitar and bass lines ideas through electronic music.
