This was cool. But, the original was hot - adding Jay-Z was like putting spinners on a Bently - it doesn't make it bad, but it's not necessary.
Niiice tune mate, love it, it's original shit. If you want, check out my tune Havok and Madness - It's coming... by All1
Yo I think this song appeals to today's audience...the original was great, but this just as amazing...
@blondeFLgirl: I agree with stefan-tonio",,the original is way much better! specially the lovely guitar",,and when it comes to the Jay Z part,,I am going somewhere else,,the track doesn't need it I don't like it ; ( I love Sade dou" ; ))
GoTTa LoVe tis Song.. My two FaVorite SaDe n JayZ.. Listening to the words ReMinded me of A Season n my LiFeTiMe NDeed
@For Real!: LOVE JAY but it would have been a banging track with NAS, AFURA or even RZA. JAY Z you still the man, holla at EL TIRAFLECHA
out of all the rappers to choose from to do this remix the jigga man perfect cause this is one of my fav.GOD BLESS!!!
Sure to be one of your best, just give it time Sade. All the best to you and the band on your tours.
@irinka-alexandra: WHY oh WHY did my Sade EVER agree to this? HORRID. HORRID. HORRID.
@Avron: Agreed. I wish this was NEVER re-mixed. HATE HATE HATE this version.
Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Black Thought, John Legend, Anthony Hamilton and Aloe Blacc all would be much better choices to rock with, they may not be the "superstar" that Jay Z is, and he may be a legend and all, but these are Artists like you that aspire & inspire and are legends in their own right as well or at least top notch artisans trying to continue to make soulful and real music based on artistry, not radio pop hop tripe. Forget the charts, it is not where your people reside or are represented anyway, but we are out here holding it down, surviving troubled times as the soldiers of love that we are. 1
Sade picked the "very" wrong person to perform a duet with. This is bad! Sade is better than this mix will ever be...very disappointing...Sade needs to find someone she is musicallly and vocally compatible with or continue solo. There are wonderful male "voices" out there to compliment Sade, that are lyrically and harmonically outstanding. What is this step down to Rap anyway? Take the "Z" off Sade, you gonna loose a lot of money. Find a "real" Singer. This will never make Legacy music and I would not buy it!
The remix minus Jay is hot...He doesn't necessarily hurt it, but he doesn't add any more to it than Sade and her beautiful voice which is enough...
Why Jay-Z? I didn't enjoy the lyrics with him in it. Your great Sade! why mess up your sound with a rapper if your going to do this do with a rapper that fits you and your sound. I am not putting Jay-Z down but his sound is not for Sade. Keep trying you will find the right rapper for your sound if that is what you are looking for in a different sound or just being experimental.
