Ryan Noise is an Atlanta based video musician who performs a unique blend of multimedia bent music numbers. His live performance comes with a large screen, audio controllers, video mixing apparatus, samplers, and various other instruments. "I became interested in media as a small child. I've studied multiple music instruments, as well as video production and film" states Ryan Noise. "I've really grown as an artist, engineer, and producer since the days of performing in clubs with top electronic acts and djs. I see now why God had me where I was, and where he wants to take me." Ryan Noise has collaborated with many talented artists, and is not afraid to explore new musical boundaries. Ryan Noises says, "After performing instrumental dance music for so many years, I felt it was time for me to say something, not just with lyrics, but through visual sources as well." Where did it all begin? Ryan Noise got started around the age of twelve. He couldn't afford turntables, so he used two tape decks and a mixer. He released his mix tapes to all the kids in the elementary school and often had them played on the bus rides home, states Noise. He got his first residency at the age of sixteen, at a local venue named, Charades. "I started out playing drum n' bass even though track selection was slim. I later got into house music, then came music and video production; and the rest is history." What is Ryan Noise doing today? Noise has been working closely with many new artists such as Sofi Nix, Silk Wolf, Threv, Randy Garcia, Charlie P and more. His relation to Randy Garcia (PR of Nophi Recordings ) had lead him to his first official music release on the Nophi Compilation, now available for download on iTunes and Amazon. Noise has been developing custom made audio/video production templates for devices like iPad and OSX desktops and was featured on engadget and createdigitalmusic for his work with OSC and midi implementation on the iPad for its release in April 2010, which is used in his performances. Some of Noise's current video productions are be showcased in Atlanta event spaces such as Door 44, Sutra Lounge and Halo. As a resident Video Designer at Halo, Noise creates an interactive media perforce on a weekly basis. "Although I think VJ-ing and DJ-ing is cool, I like to think of myself as a live producer/performer. Although they are similar, I think what separates me from these titles, is the amount of spontaneity and live production that takes place with all the elements involved. Adding the video element, allows me the opportunity to package up and take all the artists i work with, along to my shows with me," says Noise. Immersing himself in so many realms of the artistic Ryan Noise keeps moving his production forward and loves sharing what he does live.
