I've known her since 2003 when I started college a the University of Texas at Austin (UT). We both co-facilitated a FIG course for the Women in Engineering Program in 2005. I'm constantly inspired by her enthusiasm and passion for everything she does. She currently works in the Cockrell School of Engineering at UT in a program to provide engineering students with an opportunity to receive their teaching certificate (UTeach Engineering). I see her as a mentor not only because she has done some amazing things but also her desire to help others grow to their fullest potential. In this clip she shares some of her childhood memories, being an Austin native, and her passion.
