Roy Phillips is a southern california based dj / producer. Since the age of 5 Roy
started with piano and guitar lessons compossing original music and playing live
at school shows. At 18 Roy got his first set of vinyl turn tables after getting inspired
at audiotistic (a rave) and was mixing rap, dnb & trance at home for fun with his
friends. October 2011 Roy decided to make his love for music into a full time
career. He invested in new dj & production equipment then enrolled in Icon
Collective production school in Los Angeles, graduating 9 months later and has
been producing, mixing, mastering, remixing, and djing ever since. Roy also
started Castle Records to release music on and help other local talent be heard.
Roy produces what he calls “festival music” which has crossed lines between
many genres including progressive house, electro, Iberican, big room, trance, trap &
dubstep. Roy’s sets are mixed with many of his own productions and private edits
that take you on a musical journey with beautiful vocals, melodys and big drops.
