AUSTROP0P is a brand-new retrofunk/house collective based in Vienna, AUT.
The bands core member are deeply connected to the viennese music scene, from alternative singer-songwriting to DJing hottest local spots and back to arranging & programming pop slaves.

Their concept of producing in-between jobs, family and wastelands commits themselves to limited time schedules. Expect fast patched reality bites or artistically snapshots of unique austrian minds going down the retrofunk/house road with and for you.

The Radio Mix injects us with a heavy 80s funk bassline, influenced by early Falco and Shari Vari. Track 2 warps us back to 2012 and hits us with some Prince´ish sounds combined with guitars by Thomas Mauerhofer, we call it tech-funk.
Cay Taylan´s Remix keeps you banging with his love for broken beats, showing pure viennese spirit and it´s open-minded being.
