wonderful slow blues, comfortable, love the guitar
Beautiful Vlad. First time I've ever seen the name "Sweelinck" on the net--only in dusty old musicology books and journals--maybe ought to listen more to this guy. Beautiful performance.
Pure Genius throughout.
I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of professional blues/jazz guitarists who can play at this level.
Wow! Absolutely beautiful, highly professional, emotionally evocative, coherent. Slow Blues is extremely difficult to play well--you do it like a Master.
This is a beautiful piece, obviously composed by a gifted professional. It approaches Samuel Barber's "Adagio for Strings." Love the lyricism as well as the range of harmonic vocabulary--from common practice period tonal to Stravinsky and beyond. Very moving piece.
Beautiful. This section reminds me of Mahler.
Great piece! Well crafted, shows refined musicianship. Interesting and engaging,
Great performance Michael. Had no idea you had such a good singing voice; you even manage to stay (more-or-less) on pitch! Is that Really you doing the singing? If so, you're actually pretty good at it. If not, well, that's ok, it's a great arrangement of a classic (and oh-so-appropriate) song--thanks and keep up the great work!
I especially like this ending--tastefully done.
great vocals, truly soulfull
Love this entire interview; every song--from the album and live in the interview--is so professionally done, great music in every way.
This is very good, Rara. You have a good voice, and I noticed that you are Always on pitch--you have an excellent ear and great intonation--that's among the most difficult aspects of becoming a musician. It can only be partly trained--you have this gift naturally. You're very talented musically--proficiency with the guitar will come with time and practice, and your voice has a pleasing and musical quality; it too will develop and become stronger and more full. Very talented, musically gifted--keep up the good work.
This piece is impossibly difficult, nonetheless, well played! Not too much pedal either, reminds me of Ivo Pogorelitche's "Gaspard ..." Impressive technique and interpretation--extremely impressive.
