Over the years i´ve been spinning records at about 150 different venues.

For some years the Dj-sets are focused on the roots of my musical background:
original Rhythm n Blues, early Rock´n´Roll, Latin, Exotica to Jazz.

I´m the host of the "Rocking Ballroom",
a regular event at Festsaal Kreuzberg, Berlin.

For some years i´m holding a residence at the Bassy Club, the hotspot for vintage music in Germany (voted for the best club in Berlin in 2011 by Radio One).

In 2010 I teamed up with Earl Zinger
to form the
"Electric Sideshow Soundsystem".
Digging deep in the history of music
we take the idea of a vintage party to another level.

This Soundsystem is a division of
"Rogall & The Electric Circus Sideshow", the mothership.
Influenced by Blues, Vaudeville, Dub, Electronica, Jazz, Exotica, Poetry and other styles, this band creates an intensive sound. The debut-album features the extraordinary talents of
Earl Zinger, Hugo Race (ex- Nick Cave.& the Bad Seeds), Henry Rollins,
Farda P. (ex-Rockers Hifi), Steve Moss (ex-Universal Congress Of) and Bev Lee Harling.

Since 2008 I´m doing a weekly
radio show, called "WE ARE... ON AIR!"
for Multicult .fm and 88.4 FM, Berlin.
This show presents music from around the globe that is either new on the market or an interesting re-release.

Over the years i shared the bill with hundreds of other artists. Among them
Jimi Tenor, Tony Allen (Fela Kuti), Wanda Jackson, Jazzanova , Nicola Conte, Tosca,
Peter Kruder, Bugge Wesseltoft, Lady Kier of Deeelite, Waldeck, Mr. Scruff,
Dego/ 4Hero, Domu, Earl Zinger (Galliano), Abdullah "Dollar Brand" Ibrahim, Pressure Drop Soundsystem, Sweet Vandals, Wumni/Masters at Work, Nightmares on Wax and countless more.

In the late 90s i was a founder member of Sonar Kollektiv Records (together with Jazzanova). It was one of the most successful independent labels coming from Berlin.
At the same time i focussed on the work in the studio like recording, arranging and producing. The creative process in the studio was a basic "instrument" to create the sound-signature for many acts i would produce over the years.

I signed and produced the best selling act of the label, the band Micatone. This band was a kind of blueprint for the so-called Nu-jazz era.

With another band, called "Nylon", i received a golden award for the sales of our first Album in 2004.
This production put the spot on the history of "Chanson" from Germany, creating modern versions of vintage classics and combined it with modern songwriting.
The most important German magazine "der Spiegel" honoured Nylon with a cover-story:
"The new German wave - the Band Nylon is modernising the German Chanson"

In 2005 I left all these projects behind to focus on the "Electric Circus Sideshow" and other new ideas in sound and Art.
