Rodrigo Novaes é um expressivo DJ da cena mato-grossense. Residente do Club Garage em Cuiabá e Dj da D-edge Agency, traz em sua bagagem, uma enorme curiosidade musical e riqueza de estilos. Influências de house e techno que permeiam sua vida há mais de 10 anos.
Caloroso, cheio de melodia e ritmo, Rodrigo Novaes é adepto ao scratch live, e consegue através do Traktor, delinear melhor seu som. Isso se evidencia em pequenos detalhes, loops, bootlegs, releituras, acompanhando sempre os novos padrões que se adaptam a vanguarda musical.

A escolha em ser DJ já rendou boas apresentações em alguns dos mais conhecidos clubs do país como D-Edge, Clash, A Lôca, Garage, Kiwi, Neo, Hause entre muitos outros. Além de algumas das maiores festas já realizadas no Mato Grosso.

Teve a oportunidade de tocar ao lado de nomes internacionais como Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Miss Kittin, Derrick Carter, Audiofly, dOP, Misstress Barbara, Anthony Rother, Vitalic, Umek, Joris Voorn, Phonique, Mr. C, John Acquaviva, Thomas Schumacher, Patrick Chardronnet, Dusty Kid, Funk D'void entre outros.

São muitos os artistas que influenciam o som e a forma de tocar de Rodrigo Novaes, entre eles Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Loco Dice, Seth Troxler, Richie Hawtin, Lee Van Dowski, DJ Sneak, Gorge, Jay Haze, Sascha Dive, 2000 and one, Argy, DJ Wild, Josh Wink, Martinez, Masomenos, Nick Curly, etc.

Como produtor assina como Rods Novaes e tem lançado faixas em parceria com os djs/produtores Wender A e Stival, pelos selos Resopal Schallware, Roots and Wings, Lapsus Music, D-edge Records, High Definition Records, Greelpound Label, Digital Traffik, Seta Label, Bondage Music, Lo Kik Agua y Sed Records e muitos outros.

Rodrigo Novaes is an expressive DJ at the Mato Grosso’s scene. For more than 10 years he has been collecting musical curiosities influenced by House and Techno music making a wealthy style of sets. Today he is a resident DJ at the Garage Club Cuiabá Brazil and D-edge' s Agency Dj.

Adept to the Scratch Live, working with the Traktor, therefore he delineates his sound better. It gets evident with the use of small details such as loops, bootlegs, re-mixes… always following the new styles adapted with the musical vanguard.

The choice of been a DJ has given to him good concerts at some of the most well known clubs such as D-Edge, Clash, A Lôca, Garage, Kiwi, Neo, Hause between many others. Besides that he played in some of the biggest parties in Mato Grosso.

He had the opportunity to play with some international names such as: Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Miss Kittin, Derrick Carter, Audiofly, dOP, Misstress Barbara, Anthony Rother, Vitalic, Umek, Joris Voorn, Phonique, Mr. C, John Acquaviva, Thomas Schumacher, Patrick Chardronnet, Dusty Kid, Funk D'void and much others.
