    Communiqué #2: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - TvI compound, 9:22PM 05.17.10
Turnaround Vs. Immediate is a monthly ascension to the summit of soul, a rally of the righteous, a revolutionary provisional funk-soul congress, a critical get down, freedom-boogie, an explosive testimony encapsulated in the walls of the Philadelphian beacon of Bacchanalia, The Barbary. The Turnaround Vs. Immediate Faction (Aka: The People's Party for Aural Liberation) have emerged from the icy depths of the treacherous Philadelphia winter embracing our newly compiled Sonic Communiqué for the masses:A veritable auditory facilitator for summertime dreamin', a soundtrack for the solstice of convivial-livin', sexuality, liberation and unadulterated freedom.
As the weaving pulse of the meticulously crafted mix carries you through the next hour and six minutes, allow it to exemplify precisely what us TvI brothers have been talkin' 'bout when we use the term SOUL-SYNERGISM. What we're relating here through the mixes' meander is that despite pulling our sources from the extremities of the R&B, rock & Hip Hop spectrum (The Jackson Sisters to Led Zeppelin to James Brown to The Stooges to DJ Kool), the "vibe", the message, the very synesthetic musical hue of the collection coexist in perfect rhythm and harmony - and most importantly, compel you to MOVE, brothers, MOVE! The equation of soul synergism mentioned here is repeatedly proven at our monthly testimonial at Philadelphia's Barbary: The Sounds + Us + You = Monumental Rocks-Off, it's really as simple as that, children!
What we've presented to you is the funky-apostolic procession of unbridled backbeat and raw, empathetic groove. Let it ride - like a seminal drug experience, our concentrated-auricular coup d'état reveals its kinetic form in waves... Comin' on slowly, allow Jimi and Parliament to acquaint you with the trajectory of the journey. Once Reuben Bell's "Superjock" coupled with Marsha Hunt's voodoo-funk anthem "Oh No! Not The Beast Day" rise to a bubbling boil, brace yourself for a series of gritty, funked-out, syncopated ebbs and flows that are the Turnaround Vs Immediate Trademark. Genre-bending, post-post modern reference-points, and a full-appreciation for the spectrum of all that's holy about dance-floor kineticism is what we've aimed our crosshairs on - allow this mix to hit your eardrums like a musical hollow point.

True power lies within the beats' ability to CREATE togetherness, to compel on a nearly MAGNETIC level attraction to one another & drive us to move... This, friends, is Turnaround Vs Immediate in its most simplified, stripped and free state. We've raised the bar, comrades - the future is a radiant path we'll both tread together, let the music set you free!
