16 Year Old Saaf Lahhndoner Archy Marshall is the next in line to voice a generation. To the older boys he sounds like Joe Strummer, to the younger lot he’s the next Jamie T, and according to one of his mates he “plays guitar like an African” (whatever that means). With our current government - yeah - dicking on everything and anything in its path (or so I’m told), Zoo Kid is a necessity, for if he were to not exist then all those musos would have been wrong when they claimed that whilst a coalition government might suck, at least we’ll get some great music out of it. And we can’t have musos being wrong.
Zoo Kid recently released his debut 7” on House Anxiety.
