Rocketscience Media was conceived by a pair of luminaries who saw a gap in the music market for a more user friendly music PR company; a company that could provide an affordable, friendly and effective service to cater for all levels of the music industry.
The intention has always been to look at each job on its individual merits and tailor the promotion accordingly. This has allowed RSM to explore a wide range of music, enabling access to all areas of youth music culture. Direct relationships with key journalists and radio personnel (covering broadsheets down to fanzines and websites and national radio stations down to pirate and Internet stations), as well as an extensive club roster has made RSM an invaluable source of music for the taste making influential DJs, giving direct and unprecedented access to the best DJs in the world.
The company has a diverse and illustrious history of respected music PR clients - over 200 in fact - from smaller labels like Brownswood Recordings, Catskills, Grand Central, Metalheadz, Ninja Tune, One Little Indian, PIAS, Skint, Ubiquity, Wall of Sound and XL, to larger ones, like !K7, Blue Note, Columbia, EMI, V2, Virgin, and Island Records.
At present RSM is on a music PR retainer with BBE and Sonar Kollektiv, two of dance music’s most respected labels, responsible for some of the most critically acclaimed and influential dance music of today.
