Roberto Curreli better known as Roby C was born in ‘77 in Cagliari – Sardinia (ITALY).
Play drums and guitar from the high school and start producing electronic music from 1996 when
he started working on the public relation for the best sardinian electronic movement "harder times"
in this great experience listen good music and the best djs of 90's scene.
He is an ecletic artist and in his carrer made "Electronic Music" from Urban Sounds like breakbeat
and electro to glitched housey sounds with voice cuts and many music influences.
in 2000 started to spin 2step and chicago house in the first underground pubs and clubs and in cagliari
but on the years he play on the best clubs of the island like : Open Gate - Pakiki Disco - Monastero
Gazebo Dancing - Officina Autorizzata - Magnolia Clan - Atrium (Ca) - Atrium (Ss) - The Cube - Aquilone
Borderline - Shamash - Capo Boi and many more..
In 2001/2002 with C-Jay start the project "Islandghostdjs" and togheter make a radioshow called
"Contaminated Influences" @ Orion1 Radio and for an fm-radio called "radioerre" located in the
south of italy.
At decks love spin “Vinyl” ,electronic dancefloor club music characterized by alternative breaks
and house grooves and glitched sounds in 2003 enter on 2 italian dj Bookings and make gigs outside
the island and also play for jayculture Truck at the most important event in italy "Steet Rave Parade"
based in Bologna.
In 2004 Roby start its A&R work for "4th Room Rec" digital sublabel of Dmw Music Group and at the same
year out the first house remix on vinyl for Spaghetti House @ Chamaleon Records also present on the
compilation Club House Volumes by Saifam Group.
Appreciated for the producer and remixer abilities he made releases and remixes for different artists
like Altar,Minuit,Alex Costa,Pierre Pasqual,Dj Poverello,C-Jay.GiabboO,Marshall and many more.
in 2007 the first "ROBY C" vinyl single @ Beiak Records with the single called"Disco Robot"
(Remixed by Riva Starr) and in 2008 at the same label release "I hate my neighbor" remixed
by (August Jacobsen).
In the next years remix the breaks nu zeland band “Minuit” with the single “Menace” and with different
housey style release "Drugs And Money at Presslab Records and "No Clones Ep" at the german Sammeplatz Records.
From 2010 he put a little down the BPM's and also producing housey tracks with " ROCUT "artist name.
