Rob Belleville aka Elusan is born in a fairly musical family, in the woodsy middle of the Netherlands. As a teenager he listened to various radio stations that played all the classic house tunes from Chicago and Detroit. This music was a true revelation for him and it turned out to be a lifetime inspiration as a future producer. In the early nineties Rob visited the local discotheque, where he has witness of the upcoming Dutch hardcore scene (later worldwide known as 'gabber'). In the subsequent years he became more and more interested in more developed sounds by influential artists like Autechre, Orbital, Aphex Twin and B12. It was only a matter of time that he decided to spin the decks at home. During four years he spent many hours in record stores to buy the hottest vinyl, especially in the big cities. Around the magic millennium he started to experiment with a Korg ER-1 drumcomputer. This revolutionary discovery triggered him to build a decent set-up, which could realise his musical ideas. In 2005 Rob digitally released his first (promo) album on the Dutch label Essential Dance Music. Three years later British techno giant Paul Mac offered him the chance to release an ep on his own Sula Muse Recordings. In 2010 he made his promising 12"-debut on the Dutch label aDepth audio. Among people that admire Rob's soulful and epic sound are Rennie Foster, Keith Worthy, Arne Weinberg and Scott Grooves.
