Solo performer Rob McDade has been described as a 'Guitar Wizard'!

He wowed audiences as the opening act for the On The Verge concert at Elder Park during the 2007 Adelaide International Guitar Festival, sharing the bill with world-class guitarists Ed Kuepper, Kaki King, David Lindley and Vernon Reid. In 2009 he supported Pink Floyd Bassist, Guy Pratt at his Adelaide show; and he opened for world-class progressive rock band Unitopia in Adelaide in early 2010.

A diverse performer, Rob's musical stylings are suited to upfront pub gigs, festivals and stage shows as well as the laid-back ambience of cafes and restaurants.

Rob's music is very eclectic, with a myriad of influences from all genres of music. Playing guitar and vocal folk-style numbers in between multi-layered psychedelic guitar epics, incorporating loads of improvisation and unearthly sounds, Rob's performance is sure to entertain anybody with a true love of musical expression and an appreciation of instrumental virtuosity.

A multi-ward winning composer, Rob has released three albums on CD. The latest, his highly acclaimed TERRAFIRMA (2007), is available online and through select local outlets.
