Masa-K has been on a long journey to get where he's at now. His keen ability to see things from other people's perspectives makes him acceptable in nearly all cultures. He has lived in so many different environments; from trailer parks, to suburbs, to low income neighborhoods, to the backwoods hillbilly swamp land, section 8 housing, to where he's at now, humbly paying his own way through hard work. If you feel like nobody understands your situation, chances are, Masa-K does. He started rapping in 2004 as part of the Hoodlumz along with Drty Sha and Tony Cash. He was also on a label known as Insidious Records under the management of 2-bit. Eventually that partnership drifted apart and by 2008 he found himself as a member of the Black Gorilla Mafia along with Cease G, with occasional appearances by Lil Young. That also eventually became a drifted partnership. After taking a break from rapping- nearly 2 years, he's come back with a vengeance, and a lyrical style to crush competition. When he started out, he tried rapping like everybody else, and never received the fruits of his labor, but now he has developed his own lyrical style to express his views on the state of the industry, the state of our country, and try to influence the minds of young fans everywhere with "Reverse Hypnosis" - that is, to un-brainwash the masses and guide the sheep away from that which destroys their lives and jeopardizes the future of our planet.
