Rnb45.com was created by Gabe Vaughn, owner of Breakaway Records in Austin, TX. The site's purpose is to serve as a hub for the record collecting community, with the focus being primarily on RnB 45s. As well as RnB, the site encourages enthusiasts of Doo-Wop, Soul, Girl Group, Early Rock, and Garage records to participate, because of the closeness and overlap of all of the sounds which were so prevalent during the 50's and 60's.
