Real Life Real Music was founded by host and singer/songwriter Kyle Hutton. “I am a music fan first and foremost” claims Hutton. “I was listening to and learning about life through song long before ever writing one.” His love for the content and the craft culminated into this one-of-a-kind acoustic series where songwriter interviews songwriter and truly goes behind the song.

Real Life kicked off in March of 2007 after Hutton and wife Tara stopped into the newly constructed Dosey Doe for a quick lunch. “I couldn’t believe the place” says Hutton. “It’s so unassuming when you’re driving down I-45 at 70mph, but inside it’s like another place in time.” Owner Steve Said and Kyle met that day and the rest is history. “It was evident that Steve and I shared a vision about how the music and the artists should be presented and treated.” Hutton states “I pitched the idea for the series and a few meetings later we we’re headfirst into Season One.”
