how are those vibrating noises made? sound very organic!
-
It's a cello sound to start with. Add some delay. Then I have two LFO's modulating Amplitude synced at different rates. 1/8 and 1/8dot. It's the LFO's that give the vibrating feel to the sound

Are tablas actual recordings, or do you use a VST? I love the sound!
-
@Guacamolester: I import VST loops into Stylus RMX so I can edit them like midi and use the Time Designer in Stylus to change the sound to suit. Thanks for listening

@rishi: cool, thanks for stopping by! what i like about your stuff, and what specifically inspires me, is that it's more danceable & housy, and that's exactly the kind of music i want to make. it's just that when i start something that i think is a cool groove, i can't help but take it up off the charts, and then i lose my original purpose. this track bhinimal is perfection as far as i'm concerned.. deep housy grooves with eastern elements.. your 'salila' track is similarly awesome and a little more wild than bhinimal. keep it up and i am staying tuned... i see your stuff is downloadable and i'm grabbing it for deeper listening.. thanks..

nice track man, i think it could do with some strings or something just to glue everything together, there seems to be a lot of empty space in this track.
-
@Bong: Hey it is Bhinimal hence the space! I tried a few other elements but I kinda like it with space. IT's the kinda music you listen to while you're doing something else.
