Rick Valentine has been into music since a young age, back at school he was always the one to get up in front of the class and show what he could do on an instrument.
Rick also owned a set of drums and was also quite good at making melodies on a keyboard in his music lessons while at school.
Around the year 1999 Rick also started listening to alot of electronic dance music from Radio One's Jude Jules, Seb Fontain, Paul Oakenfold and also hearing many live sets from Tiesto & Paul Van Dyk.
It was clear that he found his love for Trance, Tech Trance and a few years later saved up enough money to buy his first turntables and vinyls.
As the years went on and his vinyl collection grew, so did his genres in music been bored of playing the same old trance everyone else was playing Rick came across some music he had never heard before and loved it.
He listened to a mix compilation from Markus Schulz and he just fell in love with the deeper darker sound, more chilled out trance, it was different to what most people were playing and the style has stuck with Rick to date.
As his skills in mixing were improving Rick started making his own sets and would send promo cds all over the country to people who wanted to listen to them.
With receiving alot of great feedback from the cds and been contacted by many people over the UK who heard them, he started to use the internet to his advantage and was uploading monthly mixes to the internet for the world to hear.
Today, his music style and mixing skills matured, Rick is hosting 2 of his very own radio shows with thousands of listeners tuning in every month on over 4-5 different radio stations around the world and occasionally appearing on other radio stations as a guest, doing what he loves and presenting them with his finest sounds.
Rick has held down a Residency with 2 nights over the years at local clubs and has also being djing up and down the country from the amazing Passion @ The Emporium to the world famous Ministry Of Sound in London.
Rick has also landed several gigs this summer on the party island of Ibiza and will be playing in some of the worlds most famous clubs along with some of the worlds best dj's out there.
He has already been playing on the same line ups as Aly & Fila, M.I.K.E, Chicane, Sister Bliss, Lange, Simon Patterson, Roger Shah, Judge Jules, John 00 Flemming & Jaytech just to name a few.
The future is looking good and 2013 has really kicked off for Rick and this summer is going to be a huge one from his gigs in Ibiza then straight to the festival season bring it on!!!!
