Love the downbeat Oliver,sounds cool.I would do some vocals and i will use a lot of vocoder or even melodyne on it,in order to create something very particular.
@thingstocome: The suggestion above is not something really necessary.It just make the chords sounds more interesting for me,talking in general.And is something typical in my composition style ^_^.

Use F# as note in the bassline here,under the last chord (D+).Progression from G+ to D+ (5 to 1) sounds more interesting in that way usually (at least for me ;)
