Are you ready for a fresh new sound? How about something cutting edge, electro pop and dub-step with a splash of hip-hop? Are you ready for fresh new face to take over the dance charts? Ladies and Gentleman…it’s time to introduce you to Richie Arci.
Richie Arci was born and raised in Boonton, New Jersey where he grew up listening to his father sing five part harmonies in different Doo Wop groups.“One of my earliest memories is sitting in a car seat, driving around with my parents and listening to music. One day he (my father) turned down the music in the car, and noticed that I was singing harmony along to the song he was playing. When I was 10 years old I got my first guitar - I taught myself how to play. Soon after that I started writing my own songs, and began educating myself on what it takes to make music.”
It was during high school that he met Rank Frizzo aka " The Mavrik " (Producer) the two formed a quick friendship. “We seemed to have a lot in common, especially a love and passion for music so we clicked right off the bat. Not only did we become best friends, but we developed a musical chemistry together that is hard to explain or deny.” The two have been working together ever since and have been growing, learning, and progressing into the sound they achieve today. And together, through youtube and soundcloud, the duo would release several tracks – “I Know What Girls Like”, “Nymphomaniac”, "Whatcha Got" just to name a few. In Mid-2011, they released a cover of the Cure/311 single “Love Song”, taking on a more mainstream sound. The track has been receiving positive reviews from fans and blogs all over the internet.
As summer 2011 comes to a close, Richie is ready to release his latest single, “Alive”, Once again, the track is geared towards a mainstream dance audience, inspired by the passing of Richie’s father – encouraging listeners to live their lives, follow their dreams, and be what they wanna be. It's a perfect fit for all dance radio stations. Fans of Tiesto and David Guetta should easily embrace the positive radio-friendly anthem, and with the right exposure the sky is the limit!
Dance music is at an all-time high, and the time has never been better, to show the world who Richie Arci is. He’s ready to take the dance world by storm, willing to work hard to achieve success and offer something new and fresh to dance audiences, combining a mainstream dance sound with Electro, DubStep and touches of Hip-Hop. Finally, the dance world will have an energetic, good looking, talented male singer, poised to take over the top of the Billboard dance charts!
