I agree - I love the experimental vibe.
I wouldn't have spotted it if you hadn't mentioned the random Live sequencing - reminds me of the generative tracks Monolake used to have on his site - could make 20 minutes feel like no time at all.
So much space - love the samples deep in the verb -- wouldn't say it sounds very Vladislav, more Horror Inc maybe the way the samples sit in the mix. Love it - hope to hear more quality like this!
@aerobiotic: cheers mate!
i like the way this track evolves mate - esp love the last few mins - good job!
@elonzeron: yep but my site's in a state of disrepair. I've got a live gig coming up which should give my newer tracks a bit of an airing + live 909 and acid..... IF i remember to hit record on all channels haha
love this!
doowwwwwwwnloading :)
Stunning - always love your work - but this is my new favourite!
Love this track, can't wait to hear the new mixes!
punishing!
i agree - this is epic - good stuff keep it up!
wow - awesome set dude - love the Tresor club - perfect music for it!
My girlfriend just described this as 'lifeless' and 'utterly shit' - she's worried I'm too close to the music because I wrote it... Perhaps there's some truth in the matter. I really like this one :)
stunning
this'd be perfect for playing Wipeout 2097 to :)
glad to hear it Craigy - if you think you'd ever play it out in its current incantation, you're welcome to have a copy :)
cheers fellas - yeah Joe it is squished - and that's partly because you know that's how i like it :P but more than that - i'm trying to get a stack of audio together for my live set and want it to be of comparable sound and volume - some mixdowns seem to be harder to bring up to the same volume - possibly because there's just too much going on in them - this being one such example :)
after the show i'll do a quieter mixdown using any additional drums and synths that i play over the top, and that will be the final track.
pleaaase tell me someone was recording....
did you end up giving him your white-label bootleg pirate radio vershun? :P
...the other half
Oldie but a goodie - now new. This is half.
Destroy all replikants!
was writing this when Audion was playing - maybe i should have gone out instead :)
keep it building and building and building..... don't stop it :)
My two favourite Australian artists :)
cheers guys - sped it up and cranked some 303+delay over the top at a recent set - worked a charm but didn't record it - but this track is definitely going to get a spit and polish soon :)
sick track!
love it riiiight here
this is great!
this track is awesome man - well done!
love this remix!
that continuous central-panned clicky scrapy stab is really annoying :D
also sort of loses momentum before the final breakdown i think.... maybe just needs a trim
i think it's a bit too fast - and too busy at the start
once it gets going it sucks you in tho - might tone down the white noise, it's a bit over the top.
and the nasty bass sounds are riding the limiter pretty hard but that's the effect i wanted - possibly needs lots of work in the sweetening department, i'm just on a single pair of hifi speakers at the moment :P
@richardparker: nice track, too :)
original title :D
cheers man - yeah I thought so too.... And I was listening to their Homelands set a lot last year too so I got no excuse.
I got the sound from chaining Logic synths and fx. I'd never gotten that sound before so I decided to run with it ;)
love it - this is very different to the stuff of yours I've got on Sutemos with Jazzu :)
this song fookin rocks. best acid line ever :)
bloody amazing track mate. love it
@joestawarz: got it in one, mate ;)
@joestawarz: thanks joe :)
Also the crackles make it sound like it was recorded thru one microphone which was clipping - didn't notice any real stereo image either which doesn't help - plus the track is a bit muffled/mid-heavy. This might not be so easy to fix, depending on whether these artifacts were committed when recording :P
