Rex the Triangle (real name, Michael Weiland) is a twenty-three year old musician who has been recording and performing under different alias’ for the last six years. He lives and works in Chicago, employed as a live sound engineer at Lincoln Hall. As Rex, Weiland has seen some immediate success with his remix of Beck and Charlotte Gainsbourg's "Paradisco," which took the blogosphere by storm, and caught the attention of Beck and Gainsbourg themselves. His remix is now available on Gainsbourg's label, Because Music. His first EP will be released this summer, in addition to official remixes featured on Edwin Van Cleef, and Housse De Racket's upcoming EP's.
