So slowly I've noticed summer slipping away, which started making me think about Europe once again. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Many of you friends from the other side of the planet seem to already be preparing and booking up your summer while us Kiwi's here are trying to make the very most of what remains of ours.
I had intended on releasing a house cd for a NZ summer but because of a smashed laptop this had been delayed till now. In hindsight, now really seems a perfect time to release some music in the summer vibe that some of us are still trying to hang on to, and some of us are counting down the days to.
Herceg Novi 2010 is a mix that spans a range of house sounds with elements of violin and sax, funky and vocal house pieces before pushing into the harder edge of peak time evening sets. Although I won't be anywhere near Herceg Novi this year, It was my part of my movement into these types of sounds and sums up what I would be playing if I was. I'm sure this CD will find its way though and have a drink for me!

Cool! Yeah Start sound is also my favourite... its deep and uses proggy instruments. Mashed it up though for the different tastes out there. I remember chuckin on some music. Cant for the life of me rememeber though what I used to play. Musta been Sasha I reckon ;)

Wow! I actually listened to the whole thing! Reminded me of the times you would put this kind of music on in the computer lab and we would all work late into the night. I liked the beginning chunk the most. The part with the violin and everything was my favorite.
