My name is Patrice Larrar (aka Reverend P), i'm Dj/Producer behind Motown Party & Animal House concepts.

As far as i can remember, i was always maddly into music, i started diggin records like crazy very young.

My favorite labels are Motown, Philadelphia int., Salsoul, West end, blue note, Stax, maw, area codes, talkin loud, hip-o-select...
My favorite artists are Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Michael, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Chaka Khan, Diana Ross, Chic, Teddy Pendergrass, Curtis Mayfeild, Larry Levan, Quincy Jones, Joao Gilberto, Venicius de Moraes, the Mizell & the funk brothers...

I was born in the mid 70s, and started pro dj career in the early 90's, spinnin acid jazz & hip hop in Parisian clubs such as le Palace, les Bains Douche & What's up bar; my party was called "Keep the Groove" it was a strong monthly event for 5 years
I became friend with Dj Fudge, Bruno Banner, Vidal Benjamin & Greg Gauthier, french house pioneers, they introduced me to house music, my sets slided to soulful house & classics.
I performed at Queen, Bus Palladium, Nirvana, Tresor, i spun in New York clubs such as nublu, Avalon, Saphire & Pink Elephant...

I'm resident dj of Club Djoon since 2005 and of the Motown Party for almost 10 years.

I shared the night with legends that are a heavy part of my inspiration, they are what i look up to in terms of deejaying. legends such as Danny Krivit, Dimitri from Paris, Joey Negro, Norman Jay, Nicky Siano, Tony Humphries...

I created Animal House party, label & band, in collaboration with Alex Finkin, our friends Dyonisos, Jocelyn Mathieu, Nadir Simon, Emilomar & Dj Fudge joined the collective right away.
With Joce & Alex, we produced great Soulful House like hit record "Those days Are gone" on Vega records.

Animal House opened once for Timmy Regisford @ club Shelter, and we were invited to perform at Little Louie Vega Birthday @ Cielo, that is gigs i'll always remember as blessings.

I re edit and remix a lot of classics reedits to spin soul, funk and disco as it it was house music.

I see deejaying as a way to spread love, music, & good vibrations.
The crowd gives me the energy, i try my best to canalyse it and give it back.
When i drive the crowd to extasy and keep the party groovin from first to las record of the night, i feel i'm exactly where i should be, i feel fullfilled
