    "Lost Umbrellas" was (is?) an art installation I did in collaboration with artist, Brieley Holbrook.
    It is about the thoughts, emotions and lives of lost umbrellas as they explore their existence in Japan. As the sound designer for the project I did a lot of field-tracking: rice paddys and the river near my home, walking in the rain, train stations and pachinko parlours along with various other locations where one usually encounters lost umbrellas. This ambient piece is a mix of five distinct tracks (Nagoe, Edo, Pachinko, Enka and Drips) which all emanate from four beautiful, mysterious umbrellas- each with it's own internal glow... Relax in a dark room and set this track to loop and I am sure you'll have an interesting experience. Pray for Japan.
