    "Hanafubuki" (hana-who-boo-key) occurs when the wind blows cherry blossoms from the trees making it look like it is snowing. Life is short and what is beautiful is frequently interrupted. This song is my artistic response to the overwhelming tragedy here in Japan. While this nation grieves stoically, working to repair and clean up and get back to the business of living, there is ongoing tension over radiation and aftershocks, and, more tsunami. As an "outsider" living here, my heart goes out to my neighbors and the nation. My prayer is that Japan would discover the source of eternal beauty, that which never fades or withers...
