There is a downpour going on in Queensland and New South Wales, Australia. This is already the third day of steady rain and it's supposed to go on for three more. The rivers are flooding and folks are evacuating. Locally in Mudgeeraba our monastery sits on high ground but my roof is already leaking and the water courses that channel the run-off down the hill are bursting. This is a monsoon!
