Hailed from the deep south of the Mediterranean Sea in Sicily, frontman Davide ‘Shorty’ Sciortino had a vision to bring back the love. In 2012, he hit up his crew in London and together, they formed Retrospective For Love; a seven-piece band dedicated to weaving together eclectic, catchy melodies stretching across Hip-Hop, Soul, and Jazz, threading through subtle layers of Electronic Dub. Singing songs through a stage icon, a signature chrome- plated mic, lyrics are loaded with romanticism and nostalgia, allowing their sound to dabble in delirious déjà-vus, bringing you back to the first time you ever felt heartache.

Retrospective For Love have coined a unique and impressive sound carefully crafted through the expertise of each individual musician; their instruments all in metamorphic conversation about what love-struck lust to tackle next.

As a much-loved local London band, and having played major venues with crowds consistently coming back for more, Retrospective For Love are ready to take on Europe, and this coincides nicely with the new release of their self- entitled EP, which is currently available on iTunes, Bandcamp, Amazon and Spotify.
